Honestly, since I started not having any help every summer vacation time, I actually found myself more bonded with the kids. I have been able to teach them responsibilities at home since I am able to set the example of being able to do the chores myself, and that, for me is a great accomplishment as a mother. They have learned to become independent and can take care of themselves, even when I am away from home. By the way, the two teenagers do their own laundry...
